Groove Lee & Funk Norris es un idea que se hizo realidad a finales del año 2001 a cargo de Angel Galán y Sergio Rodriguez (más conocido como el Piru. Ambos son miembros junto con Orbita 3 del colectivo Animatek_rave, pero en este otro proyecto buscan una nueva fusión de estilos y fusión de gente. Funk, soul, y música negra en general como protagonistas, abarcando desde el latin jazz al discofunk. Tocando cualquier palo bajo el que el Funk haya puesto su mano, sin olvidar los ritmos electrónicos y las nuevas interpretaciones de la musica negra.
